Soooo, Superman has a Brainiac base and EX, but Sideshow decides to make a DD?!?

Congrats on those wanting DD, but Supes art direction was a fail.

It might be a fail for those buying Doomsday. I think it's pretty cool for those of us who aren't.

I will be really interested to see the price point and size on this in comparison to the Prime 1 piece. All of my stuff is 1/4 scale, but if they go with a Thanos price tag, he better be the size of Thanos, but if he was standing up. If he's only as big as Bane (only being used relatively here, Bane is big...) then he better not be priced much higher or Prime 1 is the obvious choice. Doomsday P1 will be a lot bigger than PF's, but he's a character where he won't look out of place being much bigger.

Aside from how imposing it is on his own, P1 Doomsday goes better with P1 Jim Lee Superman which is probably one of the best Superman we have seen so far. The choice is easy.

That p1 piece sure does go better with hush Sups.

This Marquette will probably go better with thanos on throne and the darkseid premium format figure.

SS's will be better. Canale specializes in sh!t like this.

I'm down with Canale being a master in his craft, but artists involved aside, that Prime 1 Doomsday is a beast. If I were to pick up any version of Doomsday as the ultimate version and embodiment, it would be the one by Prime 1.

Granted, we have yet to see the one from Sideshow so.....we'll see.

Been waiting for a Supes that deserves some space on my shelf, but there hasnt been none to date to my liking. Might pick up DD if he turns out looking great, and just keep holding my breath for an amazing Superman piece to go with it. Canale is sculpting DD as well? Thats just the sweet cherry on top! Its in good hands then! Canale knocks it out of the park every time!
