I think that Predator is terrible also. Looks almost like every single other print of any title that's been made. These days, I need to see something remarkable for me to get excited. Shaw's Alien was the last great print I saw released. I feel like, we, as collectors, have given these artists too much slack. By supporting all these half assed versions of prints that we all wait and f5 to buy, they just keep at it. More and more subpar work is released because we eat it all up.

I guess you can't say which commission print since you talked so badly about it. But I'm still curious...
I was never into every print Mondo and others release every week. I can't remember the last Mondo print I purchased. I think it was Martin Ansin's Rocketeer. Last other gallery print? Perhaps Mark Englert Aliens. I have to check my flat file.

I don't know how I feel about this one. I really like Gabz work but there are things in this one that seem a little odd to me. Particularly Rey's pose and a general lack of detail.

Gabz is pretty hit and miss with me and this is a definite miss. Rey's pose looks awkward and unnatural. Threepio and Artoo could and should be replaced by any number of more prominent TFA characters. I also think it's a mistake not having Kylo Ren's Lightsaber on display and to top it off the color scheme on both versions is pretty drab.

I like it. Poses / setup reminds me of original Star Wars posters. But I don't like the movie enough for a print.
This is the way to handle popular movie prints. Timed and a limited variant version.

She's also well out of proportion...shame, as I like the rest of the composition, but Rey looks...weird.

I really like these, and probably will buy them. But the short blades on the Predators gauntlet are an annoying oversight.

Isn't that what they look like when they're retracted into his gauntlet?

No, or at least we never saw it. A limitation of the suit perhaps, but I like the way they never fully retracted personally.
