It was a joke made by somebody and this is how bad rumors start. A 1/3 scale Batpod would cost a fortune on top of the already $2k statue.

Cool, thanks for pointing me in the right direction! I agree - JND seems like a natural fit with Queen and Infinity.

I'd be worried about that silicone after a few years... drying out, collecting dust, etc... prefer something solid myself.

Good quality stuff should last 20+ years. A few older Cinemaquette pieces had silicone and I haven't see anyone posting about it breaking down yet.
