I think your one the right track, because I had a similar issue with my Hordak Ex which was purchased from Tweeterhead..I have him at an ES of 36.
So here’s what happened, let’s say the ES is 500..the factory makes all 500 , but once they arrive they notice 36 are badly damaged so they have the factory remake the damaged ones and re-establish a new ES so none one mistakenly has a duplicate ES on the original 500 already printed. But in the overall scheme of things this new 36 is still part of the original 500..now the AP is separate from the original run.
So I could see it being either of these 2 scenarios.

A bit late to the party, but I just wanted to congratulate Tweeterhead on another awesome statue!
Mer-man turned out great and arrived with no breakage which is a surprise considering all of his non flexible spikes!

I personally would have liked his paint application to be a bit brighter to go with the previous MOTU statue releases; but overall this is a complete home run!

Cant wait for my boy Trap Jaw!

Anyone else order the Merman EX when it was available on Tweeterhead's website? I ordered April 17, got a notification from UPS on the 25th saying it would be arriving May 1. I check tracking and it shows only a label was created, nothing has shipped yet. I reached out through their contact portal and haven't gotten a response yet.

Do they usually take 2+ weeks to ship out? I gave up my SS waitlist conversion to support the company and line on their own website figuring they were shipping out. Feels like I should have just went with the Sideshow waitlist conversion
