I wouldn't worry about it too much. These things are minor and it's great that a line this good exists in the first place. Rodimus was more of a major mistake with his car than these little things.
That said, I was more annoyed when Tweeterhead did their Skeletor bust and used a child's skull as the reference. The crack down the center shouldn't be there and the bones around the nasal cavity are completely wrong. Also, the "X" bones on his chest plate don't even align. It's like the artist cut/paste to make room for the jewel and couldn't even be bothered to align the bones to make an "X" again. A couple of people pointed it out to them and they ignored it and not only produced it as it was, but even used it as the basis for their 1/5 statue which has the same mistakes. That's just sloppy.
