Wasn't the case after all, so Nizzi gets a design 'thumbs up' from me. Looks ok. Certainly doesn't come close to the original design for me. The only thing I really don't like about it is the head. Not a huge difference, but it's enough that it ends up looking similar to Bayformer Starscream (at least without refreshing my memory). And I'm not a fan of any of those designs.
But people were loving it on fb. Thought so.

Night variant is up for order, $100 more than the original, no swap out parts.

I find it odd that they would increase the price and not include any swap outs. Its the florescent paint really that much more expensive than additional parts?

hey guys! I came so late to this party! but just preorder the 00 eva, I think i will also get the current 02 and the new 01 designed by Josh Nizzi, wich is the one who really got me into this line. I haven't been this excited for collectibles for a while now. What a time to be alive.

So I have EVA 01 EX on order through sideshow and still have yet to receive a shipping notice. I also have EVA 02 EX on order through Prime 1, is that one delayed? I'm thinking about getting 00 and being done with this line, but does anyone know hen 00 is set to ship? This waiting game is getting seriously annoying.
Also wanted to add I have no interest in the Pilots recently revealed. And while the new unit 01 is an interesting take on the EVA, its not faithful to the show.
