Help with Sauron statue repaint

I love my Sideshow Sauron,,but i feel he painted with too much black. Can someone offer some hints and techniques for a repaint that can highlight the wonderful detail that the black paint over shadows,,thank you.

You can try drybrushing some silver lightly over the top of the detail to make it stand out from the black. Another tech. to try would be to use an eyeshadow applicator and some pewter Rub N' Buff and gently do the same thing. Heavy on the word "gently". A little Rub N' Buff goes a long way!

thanks for the advice,Rick. I do have another question,,I've used the Rub and Buff on my Sauron helmet,(which you helped me with your advice,as well)...Now because the helmet was made out of Metal the Pewter gave a nice "slight shine"..that I liked very much..Now with the Sauron statue, because its made out of Polystone ,would the rub and buff show off the same as with the metal?..I tried a small section of the statue with the Rub and Buff I had left,,but the shine wasn't there?..Could the Rub and buff have dried out, even though its less than a year old?

Sidi - Try "buffing" it out a bit w/ an old T-shirt. Buff it up gently and see if the shine comes through.
