Well, if there are none available, it's a pretty good price.

Do it or pay double in a year or two. I paid more for mine

I can't find a Cinemaquette Predator anywhere.

I'll just keep plugging along. Hopefully I'll eventually find a seller.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Well allow me to 'rant' in reply. I never actually commented on the pose - it was the proportions I was discussing - though as you bring me to it, I don't really like the pose either. Too generic an 'action' pose and not nearly ominous enough for the stealthy creature from the movie.

And why on earth did they sculpt it as though the rubber suit was rotting? It wasn't rotting in the movie. And if they acknowledge that it's a man in a suit, why did they sculpt it in such a way that the dimensions are entirely un-human?

No, sorry, but there are far too many artistic liberties with the CM Alien. I'm a huge fan of the first movie and have owned just about every collectible from it since it came out, but the CM statue looks very little like the creature from the movie to me. I had it on display for a while, and I agree that its size makes it pretty impressive, but it's really more a Giger re-interpretation than a movie replica, and that wasn't what I wanted. We're all different I guess.

Still, I'm glad you like yours and that you feel your money was well spent. I didn't, that's all.

It has always been an H.R Giger Alien and not a movie-accurate-alien.
I always saw this CM as this and i'm okay with it!
