This is a very well executed statue I think, and one of the things I think Yamato does extremely well is their statues eyes. It's a small thing but it adds so much life to a piece....in my opinion.
Having said that, for me this statue just doesn't stir me in a way I would want. Hey, I love the female form, and this statue is ozzing form through the roof.....but I find these SM pieces leaving me empty when it comes to considering the character of the piece. I like my statues to be convincing within their genre, and to me the Catwoman should be like a Vampire, her sexuality is simply a consequence of her gender, her form the result of the physically demanding activity she engulfs herself.....but her true nature is far from any drive to fulfil a mans basic lust, and to lower your guard around her is to invite death and despair. To me the character needs to call to your desire and imagination while reminding you that this is a woman no man can posses or control.
I don't get that from this piece, all I get is a badly attired female whose body is far to exposed and vulnerable, more like a stage plaything than any serious threat. And so in the final analysis she represents nothing more than an erotic statue..which is a shame, as so much more she could have been.
I have no doubt this statue will sell well
