So, I contacted Sideshow's chat today, and I got a fair enough response - basically I need to wait to see when/if my conversion happens and at what point if it happens where the statue will be in terms of its release schedule:
"Thank you for reaching out to us! Unfortunately, the support team has zero access to the wait list reservations so we are unable to see if the item currently qualifies for a flex payment plan at this time. What you will want to do is reach out to us once you get the conversion email and let us know you would like a payment plan and we can then place the account on hold. Once the reservation converts to an order we can check if the item is eligible for a payment plan Some items are because they are still not shipping for awhile but some might not be. We will not know until we can access the order"
So, looks like I gotta wait to be able to even ask for an answer =)
