Cicada season
This is the 17th year for the cicadas so there are huge numbers coming out of the ground. Not sure what it is like in other parts of the country, but here in Raleigh, I live near some woods so I can just hear a continual buzzing all day. Sounds pretty cool.

I used to live in DC and when the cicadas hit it's like a swarm of traffic stopping, deafening locusts. Ugly critters, too.

Down here in Florida, we're having the worst Love Bug season in decades. When we were coming back from Wonderfest, we had to stop at every rest stop to clean the windshield.
