What happens if you get scared half to death twice?

He definitely looks like he's about to cry. For some reason every time I see an emotional Cyclops I just think: "Oh damn, Jean Grey died...again."

I wish the right arm was positioned differently, but overall I like the statue even if it's a very safe/bland pose and costume.

YES, Mepa. He DOES look like that. I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees it. It's very crybaby Scott who constantly yelled "JEAN" in the cartoon.

I hope the other portrait is more serious. Calmly powerful. A leader.

Those were the best pics i could find lol.

I get where your coming from but our pelvis/lower is constantly shifting in even slight forward or backward bending of the upper torso to account for balance.

I suppose the best way to illustrate the issue with xm’s is to try to position yourself in a similar way cyclops is standing body slightly forward and then try to lean back while maintaining the same lower body positioning.

When viewing it head on is one of the reasons the lower half looks a bit wonky as its trying to account for different upper body positions. This ^^ is another not so great pic but on video the lower half is the same.

I agree with you on the lower torso, something has always looked off to me like his legs are too stumpy or something. And those boots are pretty hideous imo

I personally initially thought it looked a bit basic but with the HQ photos its starting to look quite good! And the potential visor effect will be a must.
Tbh this is the best Lee cyclops, the OG pf is dated and XM's has its issues. Give it time though, people will see the light Squirtle.

That last XM pic does make something look off. Almost like the torso seems stretched like goro or something.

Hmm, OK after seeing some pics, I have to say I'm not that impressed with this one. Still holding out full judgement until we see official SS pics or a good video, but he kind of reminds me of a Diamond Select piece.

Comparing SS and XM for me,
Sculpt Proportions/Physique Winner: Sideshow
Paint App (obvious) Winner: XM
Costume Design: eh I'll give it to XM, not by much.
Pose: tie

So they fully go with a classic Jim Lee look for Cyc with yellow undies on the outside but they didn't do that for Magneto because Igo thought the undies on the outside of his costume looks silly
