Is that the Colossus that's $290 at EE?

Still marked up- but not as excessively as the mark up at the $4 shipping store.

I see now it's down to $315 at BBTS- so only $25 more and right in line with the shipping cost differential at EE, probably.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I was actually hopeful that DST Premier pieces would remain in the $200-$250 range seeing as they're the only ones left to price their statues fairly reasonably. But I guess it was only a matter of time, what with every 1/6 statue company in the landscape increasing their prices.

I hope this isn't the direction DST goes. I used to be a big buyer of Koto until their prices went insane. That's when I started buying DST Premier statues and have been very happy with my 20+ statues so far. But if they jump to $300+ each I'll have to move on to collecting something else.

I wouldn't mind paying the $300 if it was a 1/6 scale (Premiers are 1/8-1/7) and the paint application was like Kotobukiya, if you own DST yo know that the paint application it's the worst

the paint apps with DST can be a hit or miss. I own the Marvel Premier collection Cable statue and it is awesome. $300 is too much for many people. I was hoping around $200.
If this is the direction that they are going, I may just focusing on their gallery line.

Not 100% giving up on DST yet. That Lizard statue is incredible, and I'm really hoping for a reasonably priced Doc Ock one day. For the price, I've found the paint application is pretty solid. Granted, it's no Sideshow but it's also not $1,000 either.

DSTZach, can you please share this concern with your pals? Love DST statues, but more than $250 is a lot of people's breaking point. Thanks!

X-23 is supposed to be out in stores today. If anyone gets one, please post pics! I am interested in how it came out.

The statue is 16 inches tall, it's got a lot of material in it, and the Sentinel piece is the whole point of the pose and sculpt -- you can't just remove it. I understand that's a tough price for a lot of people, but it could not have been done any other way. Our regular-size statues are $200 on average. This one is much bigger.

THat said, this is not a new "direction," it's just how this piece is. Next up is Bullseye, he's going to be in the normal price range.
