For those wondering how this is engineered, there is an approx 1/4 inch thick metal rod running up the leg that goes up to about 1.5 inches above the waist. The leg is very solid and withstood a lot of punishment from being hit with a hammer without breaking.

Would've been nice to see pics of that. Just reassurance that the piece was engineered to not lean over time.
Also would've been nice to see how that support rod attaches to the base and if the base connection was beefed up. I suspect that the whole statue acts as a cantilever, so seeing pics of the base too would be confirmation.

Who knows how many are left, though. Only one place to order the EX, but dozens, maybe hundreds of places to order the CE.

Really hope SS gets back to me in time to replace my EX. I'm ok with just the reg but while the cold gun isn't a must have it's a cool additional part to have.

I got the EX specifically because who knows if anyone will ever do a Captain Cold in 1/4 scale and this might be the only nod to him we ever see.

I miss those days when EX were the same price as reg. I think for small sized EX pieces, they should be free. The larger ones like switch-out heads or proximity pieces, they can charge more.

It's kinda funny because when I started collecting Sideshow the EX was priced higher than the Reg. and then they did away with that for quite a while and priced them both the same. Now we've come full circle and it's back to 2008/2009 again.

I prefer the two tiered pricing. If you have to get a Reg at least you aren’t paying more for less.
