Grabbed the new Sketchbook, Broken Pieces SDCC comic, and 5 prints from Aspen (Lady M, Iris LE, Ember LE, Haunted LE, Soulfire Vol 3.) Also nabbed Campbell's new hardcover books and 2 of his prints (CamAm Stewardess and Danger Girls On a Boat.) Thankfully I have an outstanding, above and beyond type, friend who went to SDCC and picked this stuff up for me. He also managed to get me 2 sketches.

Very cool, Oogahonk! Great score.

Repeating Jayden's question: How is the new sketchbook?

Jayden, do you have the early years sketchbook? How is it?

Thanks.

Yeah I have it. I need to break it out again and take a look at it. It's been awhile since I've perused it.

*Possibly a Spoiler* if you don't want to know what's in the new book, don't read, I'll try to be as general as I can.
That being said, I love the new sketchbook and I do have the first volume as well. Plenty of never before seen stuff, and they added in some of Mike's prelim work. So, you'll have the finished/published piece in a large format and then 3-4 prelim sketches he did "fleshing out" that final product. There are also some prelim sketches for some statues and a few commissions here and there. Very happy with it, and flows along with Vol 1 nicely. Same size/thickness and paper stock as Vol 1 as well.

I posed this question to Frank, but haven't heard back from him on it.

I wondered if they ever considered releasing the last Soulfire that Mike had almost completed unfinished? Meaning I would have liked to see the pencils of that last book without Peter's coloring or Joe finishing it up, just Mike's pencils. I think it would have been really cool to see. Just a work in progress.

However, for all I know, Joe may have done the majority of work on that book.
