What scale were SS comiquettes?
That scale doesn't bother me, especially if the base adds detail and size.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

for what it costs me to get these across the pond, it just wouldn't be worth getting a 1/5 or 1/6..i can do that with Koto, Bowen etc
XM's quality/concepts etc etc deserve the 1/4 treatment...nothing less

Very true, good sir. Very true.
Now I will take a 1/4 Zatanna, Poison Ivy, Raven and Starfire please.
All of those preferrably AFTER Phoenix

1/5 for the most part, there were 1/4 scale exceptions however.

We need 1/4 Superman and Batman in great action poses, not this boring SS stuff.

Good to hear... but preferably after Phoenix, more X-Men and Fantastic Four are done.

It's a trade-off for sure. But imagine XM producing not only the Trinity (to be expected), but statues like Hawkman & Hawkwoman, Aquaman & Mera, Flash, Supergirl, Nightwing and Robin. Who knows how long it will take SS to get to these.
But again 1:4 or 1:6. I know folks are hungry for these statues, but to me 1:5 just ends up looking awkward. I sold off all of my 1:5 pieces, including the very excellent Punisher, for that reason. If only it had been 1:4.
