I just watched it again on BD and both myself and the missus really enjoyed Routh as Superman. Physically he is perfect as SM. Maybe his acting skills will improve in the next film but there was enough there for me to think he can do better.
With regard to Belucci i agree if they had made the film 10 years ago she would have been perfect.
