1. I was there the other day but I didn't see any switch out parts beside the hulkbuster head. forgot to ask about the undamaged parts. my bad.

2. classic iron man is distinctly darker and has a different hue of red. the gold (in classic iron man) is also darker has a different vibe to it, more like dull gold compared to bright gold (almost yellow) on hulkbuster. overall, I had an impression that classic iron man had a more premium feeling in terms of colour palette than hulkbuster. from afar, hulkbuster looks toyish in comparison. but don't get me wrong, both of them have a stellar paint job (cept for that yellow thigh parts in extremis iron man that looks rather blant)

Nevermind on the undamaged parts, just read XM's response to Mirra. Super disappointing but also very understandle at the same time. Would love if the just gave a little less damaged shoulder armour maybe.

Thanks Joel, I'd forgotten to post it in this thread. Unfortunately I spoke to XM after filming this video and they confirmed there are no clean switch outs. Apparently the shipping box would have needed to be nearly double to accommodate all the extra parts, so they just went with the BD ones. After seeing how good the battle damaged ones looked it doesn't bother me to be honest.

This was not only one of the best pieces at the show, it's easily one of the best pieces I've ever seen. The three display options (Hulkbuster closed, Hulkbuster open, and Extremis inside) all looked absolutely brilliant. I kept thinking "this is my favourite display option", then they would change it up and I'd be like "wait, THIS is my favourite display option!". Plus, big kudos to XM for finding a way to incorporate multiple light up features into the piece. It's an incredible piece from top to bottom.
