In Memory of Jeff Keck

I received a call today by one of Jeff's friends letting me know that he passed away last night from a heart attack. For those of you who never had the honor of meeting him, he was a huge asset to this industry. He was one of the classiest persons I have met. Jeff was with GG. He is the sole reason why I begun to push GG. At every show that I ran into him, he always went out of his way to meet me, invite me to dinner and always tried to give me a t-shirt or something. Funny part is that nobody in the industry really gives anything away. I never asked and rarely took (except for those con exclusives!) but it was nice to actually receive something. He would even send me a birthday card every year.
Man, I am so sad right now that such a great person has left us. It really tears me up inside. He always looked out for me and that's such a rare thing in this industry as any other. His kindness, morality, wisdom and friendship will be missed.
My thoughts are with you and your family.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I never met the man, but after reading what kind of positive energy he had, and what really great things he did, I'm really truly sorry for the loss of your friend.

I wish I would have had the oppurtunity to meet this person. I may have and didn't know it, but regardless anyone who dies suddenly, who was a good person is a loss that should be recognized.

Take Care Danny, and pass the condolences to his family and friends from all of us.
