Next time I'll preorder from BBTS. No need to pay in full, and they double-box statues.

It could be the picture's angle, but it looks like Akuma dwarfs Ryu in height, more than it would be justifiable by the different poses (chrouching vs upright). Akuma's face seems much larger than Ryu's, for instance. Is that the case, looking at both statues in hand?
I'm looking forward to receiving my Akuma, and I'm sure I'll love it, but it would be a pity if there was a remarkable scale inconsistency with Ryu.

I don't think it's a scale problem. Capcom has always held that Akuma is supposed to be larger than Ryu. Not so much in the games but in art depictions.

mine hasn't even shipped yet, despite reaching customer service and letting them know. Really annoying having to chase these guys down.
I honestly doubt I'll continue ordering direct from Prototypez. Might go through BBTS in the future.

It’s the pic. Akuma is bigger than Ryu, but as stated above he’s supposed to be bigger. Here’s another pic with PCS Ultra Zangief for reference, also my current set up.

This is the scale of akuma and Ryu. Also keep in mind that the pic ptz took with Ryu and akuma akuma base was taller than Ryu but Eric has since changed it to match scales. So akuma height is cut from that original pic.

Beautiful piece. Unfortuanetly 1/6 Shin didn’t get the white eye paint but other than that everything is an improvement for me. From customer service, shipping, to final product. Looking forward to the next.
