NFL Season 2022

Just saw this sports thread. Not sure why I didn't see it before, but better late than never.

Not sure if there's a lot of NFL fans here, but let's go!

We're 5 games in ...tell us what you think about the season far. And tell us how your team is doing.

Commanders fan here?I don?t think I need to say much about how things are. The team is maddening and it?s exhausting watching their games but I can?t take my eyes off of the train wreck. 6 games in and our season is likely over already. We need to clean house and start off with a new owner.

Which team do you follow?

I’ve always been a closet Lions fan ever since I was little. Never even been to Michigan

It’s always the same every year for me. Like hitting yourself in the face with a bat every week

I’m really surprised at how good J Allen is … and the Bills in general

Oh man, I grew up a Lions fan and have been watching this farce of a franchise since the 80s. The last time this team won a playoff game was in the 1991 season (annihilated the Cowboys at the old Pontiac Silverdome to reach the NFC Championship game), and that remains the shining moment of my fandom. It was great being able to watch Barry Sanders, but everything else has been pretty dismal, and this year is no different. A lot of Lions fans were drinking the Honolulu Blue koolaid after watching Hard Knocks, but it's back to reality now

Yea, I feel you. The Commanders are not doing so well. If they were 3 - 3 or better, then the NFC East would be the NFC Beast again.

As for me, I grew up in a family full of Cowboys fans. HaHa ...so of course, I'm a Cowboys fan. In the past, the Cowboys had a lot of losing seasons,so I know your pain.

Let's see how the season goes for the Cowboys. Great right now ...but they have to keep it up.

I watched HBO Hard Knocks where the Lions were featured this season. I started liking this Lions team. Thought Dan Campbell was doing great things ...and the featured players showed promise.

Unfortunately, what was shown on Hard Knocks is not translating to wins so far. I keep hoping they turn it around, tho. At least to a winning season ...even if just above .500

Oh ...and I really thought the Dolphins were going to be the Cinderella story of the NFL this season with their 3 - 0 start. Hated what happened to Tua and how that affected the Dolphins' game.

49ers fan here. We are 3-2 this year..
But as a football fan and niners fan I have never seen a start to a football season like this.
It’s all over the place, very hard to predict the games this year..I mean the Jets are even good at the moment.
As for my team, again same could be said , we look like world beaters against the Rams and Panthers ..yet we lost to Chicago and Denver..and in those two games scored a combined total of 20 points..2 games in the start of season I would have said were easy wins.

But even with all that said, it’s NFL season and that’s always a good time.

Born in the DC area to a family of Redskins’ fans. So, of course, as a five year old kid, I become a Dallas Cowboys’ fan. Fortunate to have experienced the 3 Superbowls in the 90s…to be followed with up and down decades. The last few seasons have been Lucy pulling the ball just when Charlie Brown is about to kick. I always fall for the, this season will be different. I like Cooper, but I want to see Dak and this defense take the team far this season. If the Cowboys beat the Eagles this weekend, and Cooper is a big reason why, the QB controversy will go go supernova.

Feel for my Commanders’ fans. Wentz appears he may miss the next game due to a hand injury. I think the organization just needs a complete reset with Snyder getting out.

Regardless, two potential classics tomorrow with Chiefs vs Bills and Cowboys vs Eagles.

Life long Chiefs fan. Yes the Chiefs v Bills is shaping up to be the new matchup to watch in the NFL. There’s some hard feelings between some of the players and even fans but I kinda like the Bills myself. I’ve started liking Josh Allen since Dominique Foxworth made his ridiculous comment about him a few years ago. I think Kelce will end up being the best tight end in history and Mahomes will be at least one of the best QBs in history.
