In all honesty, if that was an EXTREME variation (which obviously is), an ULTRA-MEGA-GIGA variation will be needed to make that Owen and Blue statue looking not great but decent. Think that's the final point...

Not really, just some painters with some talent. I am surprised they let people with such lack of skill work on these types of pieces. Hopefully some got decent examples and the couple we have seen are the outliers.

Leekson that bull is just a sight to behold, congrats man.
And if it's not painted by Shane Foulkes just kudos to the guy/girl because that's a perfect replica of his style, he's one of my favourites.
That sort of leaning on the breakout looks really noticeable though, i've never seen one like that before. Looks like something pretty much impossible to fix also.

Those will likely turn out identical to what we can see on P1 site right now. Which will mean shipped products better painted than most companies prototypes.

I meant a future one they eventually do like their rotunda, the current one P1 has shown is not that good.

My guess is that the legs aren't glued well, although the seams are looking nice

Was it that way out of the box?

Thanks VickPS! You're right, I did the custom work and Shane Foulkes painted it
Yeah, it seems impossible... Friend of mine tried to pull out the pins on his BO Rex for some reason, think he wanted to display it without the base, thought it will stand on it's own... Anyway, when he tried to pull out the pin, the leg cracked

Yes, it came that way out of the box and ordered directly from CC

Same thing like before... One thing I remember from live videos on which CC was very proud is the blue decal which supposed to guarantee minimal variation between the pieces. Can't not to notice that it doesn't stick well for the statue on some places, same like on previous piece
I really wonder how hard it is to 3D sculpt and print a plastic mask with the opened cut for the stripe, which would fit on the statue and allow the painters to make nice foggy blended white

Doesn't matter which you spin it, it's not good.

That really sucks, especially with no way to really fix it. Is there a way you could to shim it without making it to noticeable? Perhaps paint the shim to somewhat match the mud.
