Like anything, it’s taste preference. I for one, love the pose and cannot for the life of me, get excited for a character sitting in a chair. Unless they belong in one like Xavier.

Based on those pics, the Sideshow Thanos looks to be massive and bigger than XM. The legs between the two are quite different. Maybe Sideshow's Thanos is a broader and did extra leg days? The different in size doesn't seem to be as much height as it does bulk of Thanos.

But neither one of these is small at all. Just different poses of a beast of a character.

Why do people always want to compare? Who cares! Both EX are sold out,A lot collectors are pretty happy with their choices.These are two Different kind of statues and both have their weakness..Sideshow throne is way better then XM thanos base in my opinion. ..Sometimes a more simple looking Thanos is more comic book actuate too...Now Xm has the better pose and has way more pop and detail!
That said, I have both so a win win.

I never down other people's statues. I just answer when asked.

People want to know others insights to help them decide, if they are picking between say these XM or TOT statues.

I do think it is best to ask someone who owns both.

I personally don't like the comic interpretation of Thanos for statues, I like a modern spin for him. And I let people know that. Is XM better than TOT? For me, Yes! And that opinion is 100% accurate. It's my opinion.

If you said TOT is better, that is 100% correct....because it's your opinion.
