Sounds like an awesome investment. I've got a buddy with an original mk2 cabinet and he basically never leaves the house now! From the sounds of it if you find yourself in Tokyo akihabara is where you'd want to stop off. Most of the video games and related items are contained there. The Sega building has tournaments also at times I believe.

No, but I usually visit any combination of Japan, Malaysia, and Philippines every year. It's nice and all visiting an arcade again, but without the company of normal friends from way back when the initial charm of being in one again wears off pretty quick.
