It's a HD port. This game is 12 years old. Not many ppl heard of it because of RE4 at the time, so i am happy.

I'm confused. RE4 came out in 2005 for gamecube.

here's the developers talking about the game, you also see some screenshots. Looks like a pretty good update.

I'm saying no one really played the remake and RE4 had more hype and just overshadowed it. I remember so much talk during development of it too.

anyway, I dont know why ppl are mad. they ported previous RE games.

Yeah but that was only on PS3 (which I did forget about)..Xbox owners only got 4-6 and Code Veronica..
I got the 360 Version at the time, due to having the gamecube versions and also lack of hard drive space on my ps3 at the time...as it was almost all digital downloads.

But again it is a great game, but just can not see paying 50-60 dollars on an HD re-make of one game, I already have.
For those who never played it...It is a MUST HAVE.

Although I've never been a real fan of the series, it'd be interesting to see if the gameplay can still hold up in 2014/2015

I can't see very many new people jumping at this "remake" especially since it'll still essentially feel like a game made many years ago. This is likely only for the series' fans and nothing more

I would much rather have a new game like the first one. Each game they made after that was harder to get into as they did move away from that original style. Never even tried the last two games after doing the demo of one of them online and not enjoying it at all.
