Future Floor Wax

I've heard Future Floor Wax mentioned in several threads .. but I'm kind of unclear as to what it's use is.

What's it supposed to do?

Does it have to be sealed on top of the application? Or does the FFW act as it's own sealer?

floor wax gives the shiny finish and acts as a sealer to protect surface of the kit while handling.

It actually dulls the alclad chrome effect a bit from my expierence but, on the other hand, gives it added protection from scratching or chipping. I haven't tried using it on acyrillic paints because I use dullcote but it should give you similar but shiny results. I wouldn't use it one any fleshtone areas.

So then no sealer is needed beyond the application of the FFW?

Future Floor Finish (it's not really wax) is great stuff, but its glossiness is sort of a medium gloss. For a high-gloss finish get some Tamiya Clear. That stuff completely rocks for gloss-coating.

Both can be sprayed through an airbrush, btw.
