Shipping is high (as usual, big heavy statue/box) but that's a pretty good price!!

My current preorder of Guts Spinning Canon Slice has Extra blood effect on:

1. The Deck
2. The whole body/armor
3. The Canon muzzle and Guts arm
4. The dragon slayer
5. Guts face and back neck
6. Guts cape inside and out
7. Guts leather pouches/packs

AoW are accepting changes up until the 20th. I am curious what you bloody AOW statue buyers think of my choices. I am particularly concerned about the blood on the face. Their first two Birth Ceremony Ch. Guts face blood and overall paint was horrible but lately I feel like the blood is better and I can trust the artists...thoughts? Modifications?

As you probably know AoW doesn't do quality control on repainting/added blood effects, so I'm interested to hear some opinions

Thanks all

OK so I'm new to Berserk. I just watched the Arc trilogy and hope to read / watch more.

As far as statues go can someone outline the best / grails out there?

And any other artwork or merchandise worth getting?

I saw the new stunning Guts statue at the Good Smile Company booth at NYCC which started my interest.

Then after more research I discovered ART OF WAR.

Does anyone know what's on the horizon for AOW statues?

Also what do people think of this:

How is the company to deal with, and should you always get a repaint? I'm unclear on what this offering is....? Seems pricey.

Your expressed interest recently has me getting back into Berserk. I haven't watched for years, so I'm gonna have to pick up those Arc movies.

I don't know about statues, but I got into Berserk back in 2000 when "Sword of the Berserk: Guts' Rage" came out for DC. Then came "Berserk: Millennium Falcon Hen Seima Senki no Shō" for PS2 in 2004. They're not perfect, but I love them and highly recommend them. The PS2 game is an import. I don't know if it's available on PSN.

It's hard to say what the Art of War grails are because they're all so expensive/limited to begin with. I think the 20th anniversary Guts generated the most excitement so maybe that's considered the best. My personal favourites are the Skull Knight on Steed versions. I don't own any though.

The Max Factory statue displayed at NYCC will have a stronger aftermarket value than any Art of War piece, in terms of percentage increase over the original rrp. It's received more exposure than every AoW piece put together. Depending how large the ES is, it may end up being THE GRAIL.

I didn't start looking for games but maybe I'll take a gander.

Year here are some of the most expensive...on eBay...

Think I'll just wait for Guts and Femto from Good Smile.

The AOW stuff is great though:

This one is very small but from one of the heaviest and most devastating scenes in the movie:

NSFW + SPOILER

So I watched the whole of the Arc trilogy which turns out is an extended flash back from the original manga and anime.

Hence lots more to see and read!
I'm watching the original series although now getting distracted by Attack on Titan because it got good - after 6 episodes...

Love the AOW statues but they are so expensive.

I think the Good Smile company statues of Guts and Femto statues are where I will start.
Kind of wish they did Griffith in his original form.

Berserk is on YouTube - remastered, english dub.

Golden Age of Arc I got on Bluray but I think it's on YouTube.

Attack on Titan is on AnimeCrave.com - English dub (Netflix does not have the English dub)
