Here are the final photos of the rib repair... the first couple of shots show the bare ribs sculpted with Apoxie Sculpt dryed and sanded ready for paint. The next batch is the ribs with a basecoat applied to give an idea of how they would appear painted. This is not the final paint job however. If you missed it the steps leading up to this point they can be found a few pages back on this post. This really helps the overall look of the statue and is a big improvement from the busted ribs I originally received. Thanks for the interest.

Hey all... my Barbarian AP arrived today!!! Wow I feel like a member of an elite club now... The previous owner kept this thing in pristine condition it looks great. The paint job is better and not as thick as my regular version, but Conan is much darker on the AP. The marble base really adds to it as well. What a great New Years surprise, photos to come.

It's funny that I felt the same way when I got my A/P and the nude counter sample...You are a lucky man, looking forward to those pics.
Want to wish the statue forum and the Barbarian fan's a happy new year.

Here are some photos of my AP Barbarian #257. I noticed while taking the shots that the paint on the AP on the belts and scabard in the back as well as his wristband is more of a silver color whereas on the Reg. Edition its golden color. So besides the girl being obviously undraped are there any other scuplt differences? I also included a coupla side by side shots of the AP and Reg. Edition. Well enjoy the pics, I am not the best photographer around but I think these show it well enough, the flash made it really dark looking so most are just with the room lighting.

The sword is solid silver and chromed and the scabbard has real jewels on it, and every A/P version that I have seen the skintone seems a lot darker than the reg version for some reason.
Congrats again on getting an A/P Barbarian.

So what is the dagger with the rubies some kind of gold-type plated silver?
