I really hope they go with a painted flaming Phoenix and not with the clear/colored plastic like they did with the first Phoenix release. I so hate the way it looks, and how you can see the support pegs through it =/

It is going to be painted this time. XM wanted to paint the first Phoenix...but fan interaction wanted them to do the translucent bird. I was one of them I admit. I have no regrets...it turned out to be the second best statue I ever owned.
