I remember when Kramer went off with his racist tirade in a club, I thought it was sad to see that mentality in this guy who made me laugh for years. I also think it's sad Mel has those sentiments but I'm not surprised. I know people.
I also know people act one way in front of people outside their environment, yet when they are in the comfort of their surroundings they say things they don't normally say. You can't stop that. You're never gonna control people's thoughts. Can you let them know that they are misguided? Yes.
How are you going to do that in this case? Boycott Mel's movies?
Maybe.
It's a shame, and I think Mel needs help. But I also think he was baited for some easy money considering he's displayed these sorta remarks in the past.
