Not really imo.

Does he have cables yes, but it's the quantity that's shown in the Ex that's the problem.

If you look at the video you posted, it very much appears that Obadiah's head was actually in the helmet (1:47). So how did his head fit in there given the entire neck cavity on the Ex is filled with many thick and varied cables.

And the Ex appears to have a neck upon which the cables come out of. But I'm not too sure it even had a neck, at least to that extent anyway, as both the chest plate and helmet rise as one to reveal Stane within.

But if it makes sense to you, that's all that it needs to do, to be in your collection. But in either case, it's still quite a large and impressive piece in its own right.

If that is the only way to display him in a besta...he doesn't fit.

Well yeah, he does, just not the way you prefer. And you're welcome for the photo.

Once again, it proves don't base the production run of the statue on first in-hand pics.

How many times have we seen this happen?

Yes, there are a few not so nice or problematic statues but the majority are good.

Good luck SONICobra, you will love this piece

OK just pull mine out the box and it all true about the paint..and it looks like they did it on purpose for the dirty battle damage look. The black wash is suppose look dirty and it does work from normal viewing distance but up close not to good. The boots are over done a bit with the dirt look. Not a deal breaker though, will put him together and decide then if I'm sending him back.
