It's possible. I'm waiting to see what she looks like. But with this Jungle Girl or Shanna there is the chance of other versions in the future. ARH is making good Frazetta stuff.

I love Gentle Giant product but getting any updates from them is very unlikely. It's best to just follow other companies releases to get your mind off GG and then, when the item is finally released, it'll be a pleasant surprise.

But this situation must be murder for retailers, especially if you offer a pre-order service. You must have customers constantly hounding you for updates, and I'm sure (in cases where the customer isn't as clued up in the ways of the "industry") it must have even damaged certain customer / retailer relation's!
Surely it must lead to retailers questioning the validity of such a " unreliable" supplier?
The above isn't intended as rhetoric, it is a genuine question!

Yes, but in the end there is nothing I can do. Essentially it just takes up more time because I have to explain to my customers that this is normal for Gentle Giant. In the end, they can either be refunded or just wait. That is it, there is nothing more I can do. I just hope that after all is said and done they do not hold a grudge with me because I literally have no control over the release dates.
Most collectors understand, but there are some who do not. oh well.

What's the average time frame from GG? I have only recently started getting pieces from them, black widow and artemisia. A year maybe? I know the honey trap line has been much longer but I'm not sure what the turnaround for regularly licensed pieces are.

honey trap is a joke, especially when you consider they (GG) hold all the creative license for the pieces....love or hate Sideshow, you have to admit, they're showing others how it's done with their Court of the Dead line.

Hasn't the sculptor responsible for Honey Trap and Black Widow gone to sideshow?
