When GG announced they had an Alien licence I was really looking forward to how they may use it. This is an interesting direction but not one I care to follow, especially with the prices.

I love the mini busts and so had hoped to maybe see a line of these. Not everyone's cup of tea I know but hey, Drake with a smart gun; Dallas in his space suit and Ripley with a flame thrower? I would throw away serious money for an Alien inspired mini bust series.

Just a thought.

Interestingly, design options for the Alien at one point included a 'translucent' version - so I'm surprised Gentle Giant hasn't gone in that direction (and offered something truly unique after years of Alien figure rehashes).

Me too, couldn't be less interested in these if I tried! The price is insane... If they were more like neca prices, I'd consider the regular one but yikes.
