I have not read this yet, as I agree with the above poster...Hickman is TPB reading material.

Okay, so deus ex machina is Hickman's way of resolving this. With an ending that's a complete lift of one of the most classic prior story lines ever. Just brilliant. Hickman continues to disappoint. Though Tet was right to say I was premature to judge this series after only the first issue, it turned out a complete bust for me. For those who liked it, more power to you.

Joe:
I agree totally a rip off ending . It's sad to say that comics just aren't being made for people over the age of 40. The target audience is 15-25. Thats why old storyline's get rehashed and books get re-started because only the few dinosaurs left are the ones who care. So much rubbish comes out today and it's not cheap. When will I learn.

Obviously, Kal, I'm kicking myself, too.

Here's the thing that's killing me. Every large event now immediately turns into the next event... which just sucks. I didn't buy this one - but Inhumans popping up sounds somewhat interesting - but since I didn't read this I am not jumping into the new one.
Whatever - even though the new event sounded promising, I am not wasting my money

So, maybe, you can create a second career counseling long-time, decades-long comic book readers like me not to waste my money like this again. Please?

The ending killed it for me. Very disappointing and unsatisfying end to what could have been a good story.

It's the new Bendis book that will star Jessica Jones trying to solve the murder of Uatu the Watcher.
