Next up on the workbench is Red Sonja... probably the last time this year I can use rattle can primer due to falling temperatures. The plan is to do the two surrealist busts after this since they're already primed. Got the FDM printer running again and running some test prints *fingers crossed*

Nah, this is a cheap eBay recast. My wife got it for me Xmas 2019 and I'm just getting around to it. Had to wait a few months after it arrived because they short shipped the helmet for the base.

Yeah, the chain mail style is the way to go. I'll be hand painting all those little circles.

Can you recommend some Vallejo paints for her hair color? Thanks!

Then I played
- Vallejo Model Air 71.084 Fire Red
- Vallejo Model Air 71.083 Orange
To darken: Vallejo Model Air 71.003 Red + Vallejo Game Air 771 Barbarian Flesh

With Airbrush until I liked it.

It's pretty good quality, some flashing in the connects but not too bad. Minimal surface and seam work needed.

Finished the base for Red Sonja. Need to do a little touch up on her body and neck collar before priming her skin tones. Also made some progress on the FDM printer, got it up and running again and printed these leg parts. I've changed up my process a bit, previously for parts like the ones pictured I would print the left and right pair. But I was getting too many failed prints. Printing larger pieces one at a time has been more successful so far. Each one of those parts is about a six hour print.

Just off the print bed, the helmet (minus the gold face plate) for the Iron Man MK VII. Next to it is the 1/3 P1 Batman Beyond head sculpt for size comparison...oh yeah.
