A Cimmerian
I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Just had my buddy at the LCS call me and let me know she arrived. They won't sell it to me til tomorrow, but I'm going to go by to open it and check it out right now!

I'll try to get some pics.

That would be awesome!!!

The retailer I ordered her from will be getting her tomorrow, but I may have to wait until the end of the month to pay her off.

Well guys, here's some less then excellent pictures as promised. They let me buy her, but I'm not setting her up at home yet.

Two things about putting the pieces in. Her little lock of her in front is very fragile, wasn't glued in well and came off almost instantly. On the bright side, it has a peg and will be simple to glue back into place. The other problem I had was her right 'wing' did not want to go in. I borrowed a paper clip from the guys at the shop and their was some dried paint in there I had to scrape for 30 minutes before I could get the wing to sit right.

Other than those two mishaps, ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! (Sorry for yelling, I'm just very happy with this one) And look at picture 3...

Looks like we're getting a variant sometime... (I know they've done one for all the rest, I just haven't heard anything for certain on this one until seeing it on the box)

HAHAHAHAHHhhaaa... Right there on the box.. "Alternate statue painted by Dan Cope". Bunch of doubting Thomas'. Can't wait for the exclusive reveal.

Thanks for the pics! Mine is still a couple of weeks away.

She looks pretty awesome. Question though, is it just me or does one of the fins on her thigh look like its sort of smashed in farther, while the other side fans out more? Am I making sense?

I see what you're talking about, but I don't think they are supposed to be exactly symmetric. Those thigh fins and the ones under her arms also feel as though they are made of plastic, so they move quite a bit. Depending on how the plastic gets packaged inside the styrofoam, it probably puts enough pressure on them to permanently move them.

I think you're right. If you look at the box, they seem about even. Maybe they are flexible? Does seem bent in quite a bit. It could also just be the angle of the shot.

It may also deal with the angle of my pictures and the relationship of her legs... I don't really know. Just throwing out possibilities.
