Heroes Con best local show there is
check out the guest list so far for Heroes Con. I totally dig this show, artist are very cool and do not put on the "big city" cold shoulder they sometimes get in SD or NYC.

still a comic book show by far. Sheldon gets a great group and the artists auction always has some insane pieces.
hell for the past two years they even have had a pretty damn good tattooist putting ink on folks there. something I've not seen at other shows.

I completely agree!! Heroes Con is not a small show and not a huge show, just the right size. Love going to it. I am already getting my list together of who I want to hit. Right about now is when the guest list starts getting updated a lot quicker.

Just found out tonight that as a Valentine's Day/early birthday pressie my wife bought my airfare to Charlotte for Heroes Con this summer. The con is a day or two after my birthday so I MIGHT even have some spending cash!! I am super stoked! My brother, 67wm, was in on it too. I have never been to a "big" comic con and have wanted to go to Heroes for several years now. I can not wait to go and hope to meet some of the SF folks!
See you in June!!!

You thinking there will be much sideshow stuff this year? I didn't quite see much for the last few years but then again I wasn't really looking directly for sideshow! A bunch of Bowen stuff I do know that for sure.

it all depends on what the vendors bring. I can ask tony what he is going to have for the show if you would like. He is a friend and owns crazy cat statues and books. always has a huge sellection of statues.

Is he the guy that is always posted up at the entrance? You know as soon as you walk in the doors and walk around the first few tables? He has a glass cabinet full of bowen statues and bust.
