I had to go back and double check it was nov 21st
Qty Item Options Price
1 you are my lucky star - green version
$50.00 USD
1 the oldest and most mighty race in the universe
$50.00 USD
1 zombie portrait
$150.00 USD
Amount $250.00 USD
Plus I sent in 2 game of throne prints to get signed.
I have no doubt he will come thru. I met him last year at SDCC and he always returns emails fast. Real nice guy. I can understand sh!t happens and I feel for him and his family as I have been thru a similar situation. I just hope to get em soon. He told me he didn't want to rush portraits and honestly I don't want him to rush mine.
Maybe these were damaged in the flood and he has to wait to do some reprints?

November 2012 is more than half a year at this point. Maybe it's a good thing I didn't get the TMNT AP. You can't have fans waiting this long for prints. Even with home troubles, just ask a friend to help out with shipping. Or schedule a portion of the day to ship and the rest for art.

This. I still can't believe the number of artists and companies for that matter that will take the money and let the purchaser wait almost indefinitely while the product hasn't shipped or a problem hasn't been corrected.
Anyways, Acme has a new Cortana print coming out for SDCC I believe. It's a bit cartoony but tempting. I still haven't seen the solo Cortana print I want to own.

only thing that makes me nervous is that the paypal deadline for refunds is approaching. i know Marks a good guy, and hes quick to respond, it just kills me knowing ill be at the mercy of the artist and his work timeline. suppose i could forget about it...........yeah, right.

But the thing is you don't want to just trust the artist. I've read enough commission horror stories about trusting the artist. To me, if someone puts something up for sale it should be ready or they should give you a timeline. Certainly when they get all your money up front. Look at how Mondo said the Man of Steel won't be ready till end of July. And how they say prints take longer to ship. They are clear about it.
Now problems do occur. And money still needs to come in. But when paying customers are waiting for long periods of time. And there is no bonus or easy (polite) refund process. That's when things can get bad. And it's why I avoid commissions or anything with vague timelines with people I don't know.
That being said, I'm still checking eBay everyday for those TMNT APs...Only Leo variant is down to $125...
