But seriously... If it is mixed media is going to suck big time. Thor's cape is sculpted and it is amazing. No need to change if it is already being done well.

Why does this have to be a stand alone? Who really cares about the cape , just make him fit in with the other classic Avenger line.
Koto , did you make all the bases for the Fine Arts and Danger Room series the same but with the classic line your bases are all over the place? Are you making a classic line version 1\6 scale of Black Widow, Ms Marvel, Antman, Wasp?

I'd prefer a new base. The Hulk and Hawkeye don't really match the others anyways. At the same time, I'd prefer something else besides grey rocks.

This. I hate to say it but grey rocks for bases is the main reason why I stayed away from this line. They don't even look like a natural formation or some rubble in a battle scene. They just look like clumps of clay to be honest. Without a stand-alone base for Black Panther, count me out.

Cloth for you all! Ha ha.

Except for a few F4F Zelda statues and the only 2 Bowens I'll have, I only buy 1/4 scale. But if this Black Panther looks good I'm all over it. I have the SS PF and it's a great statue, cloth cape and all. Whatever they use here, I just hope this looks awesome because this is one of my favorite characters.

Looking forward to seeing how this turns out

I'm happy they are doing a stand alone base and also adding a cape, whether it be sculpted or not. Now let's hope they nail the pose!

If they do all these things right then I'm all in.

Sosa seems to always do great sculpts but it's not like I LOVE all the pieces he has made so far. Depending on how it turns out I'll either like it or love it so that's what I meant. Not hating on Sosa at all but just because it's him that is making something doesn't mean I will automatically love it and get it.

I personally would prefer a sculpted cape because I think it just flows better with the overall resin statue.

As others have said - if it is removable it gives more posing options and it's safer in transit.
