Yes, GG's version is awesome but I'll pick this over it. The paint job will come out sub par like always, retouching is required to do the sculpt justice.

Looks sweet! I really like to PO this! SS gonna put a bs TBA on this and it's gonna take alot of fun outta this IMO... I haven't PO anything this year yet cuz of the TBA's. So no hurry to order it, but might cave in and PO, making this to be the first of '12

I might have to break my "Collect only Star Wars Premium Format" rule for this piece. It looks too awesome.

On a side note, do you think this will be a Hot Seller when released and the value will skyrocket like the Gentle Giant statue? I think so.

IF the whole piece looks as good as the preview and IF the production pieces match the prototype IMO this will have the GG one beat. But there are two IFs there and SS has to deliver.

The GG version looks nice for the $250 retail price but there is no way the regular or the variant is worth between $550 and $800 which is the going price right now.

The only reason for these crazy prices is the low ES of the regular and the difficulty in securing the variant at retail price. It has nothing to do with the piece itself. Look at Amber. She is much more detailed then BD but because of the high ES she can be acquired for less then retail. The same will happen with Sweet Pea in all likelihood. Both pieces are much more detailed then BD.

If the ES of the GG BD was 1300 she would be going for less then retail right now.
