Ron Lim is so underated. Wish they'd give him a mainstream book again. Loved his Cap 'Streets of Poison" run.

I agree that Lim is a bit underrated. After all he did the Infinity War series for Marvel and that was pretty outstanding. i do like his Captain America run, with Danny Bulanadi doing the inking. Really good stuff there and I'm partial to the issues featuring the serpent squad and the whole trial of Diamondback.
Good to see him doing some commissions again. Sounds like he may have gotten a break in his schedule. I know he had worked on some of the Avengers tie in books for Marvel recently. I need to catch up with him and see what he's got lined up next.
That Batman is very cool. Really like how it turned out. Ron does some nice commission work. Glad that you were able to get one done.

Ron finished the Infinity Gauntlet series as well. His run on Captain America stands today as my favorite from when I was a teenager and could really appreciate the depth of the stories Marvel was putting out.

I stopped reading new comics around 1993 (and I have almost no idea what's happening since) but I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone when I hear people say Ron is under rated- not saying it is or isn't so, I just remember him working on some monster books: a great Cap run, the Starlin Surfer run, Thanos Quest, and finishing the Infinity Gauntlet for Perez
He was at the top of his game then, and from what I see he is still at the top of his game, not losing a step. Are new comic readers not exposed to his work? That's insane that he's overlooked

I think a great many new readers aren't exposed to his work Bill. Which is a damn shame if you ask me.

hell...I was first drawn to Lim's work when he did Ex-Mutants! Those were some hot babes back in the day....way before Jim Lee made cheesecake cool in the X-swimsuit issues!
