How out of control has YOUR Art purchasing been this year???

Looking back on 2008, I've come to the conclusion that I'm insane. The amount of artwork I purchased (not so much the # of pages, but the $$$ I spent) was WAY more than I ever planned on. It required the selling of statues, my silver age Marvel collection and a few other little things to fund, but I'm glad I did it.

I think we are all in the same boat..(and sinking fast) I can't really list all the stuff we "overspent" on, but I can say that my most favorite was the Brahm Venom on Velum that I got @ ECCC this year. One of the best finds ever. Only one thing would have made it better.........

PS, I would love to see the pieces that you have listed, are they posted somewhere?

I spent 7k in San Diego. This year only brought one Spider-Woman cover. I bought a lot of little stuff this year. I don't think I overspent.

well i dont know about art so i wont know how out of control you are until you give a ballpark $ amount of what you spent

i think im crazy because i dropped 3gs on 2 statues in the past month lol
