This is his email from when he qouted me the price -

"A two-character black and white inked picture will run you 100$"

It says INKED picture! Why would it say inked if it was supposed to be digital!

Well.....he did say inked "picture", which to me indicates something which is printed one way or another. If he had said inked piece, inked page, inked pencils...I could see the problem. It's very possible this is just how he works.

if so, don't you think he would make it very clear that you don't anything original? At $100, seems that this should be made clear ... I am sure he has had to answer these questions in the past

It depends who the artists is. I'm sure some guys are just known to work like this. At the same time, if he was contacted through his website, it may say on there someplace that this is how he works? I don't know, I'm just guessing here
