Question Convention commission question - $$$

Does anyone know what Frank Cho and Joe Jusko charge for sketches an shows? They both did sketches at Super-Con this year.

I may be wrong, but I don't think Frank Cho does commissions at shows.

You should be able to check with Joe Jusko directly through CAF:

Frank doesn't do them. I asked at a con last year and the girl who was with him said he looks at conventions like a little vacation and takes a break from sketching or drawing anything.

Frank doesn't, but did at Super-Con.

Joe has never answered my questions about sketches. Or if he has a date yet for his book. He did tell me it was postponed.

Prior to Supanova this year, I contacted both Joe Jusko and Howard Chaykin regarding sketches at the con. Both politely indicated that they preferred not to sketch at cons.

However, both changed their minds when they realised the show was a more relaxed event and they said there wasn't the same demands being placed on them at bigger shows. Howard did neat head sketches while Joe did some sweet fuller sketches.

Best,

Royd

Head shot at a con? Not bad. Wonder what the quality is. The Tigra I got from Valentino this month was great, and for $20.
