The problem with statues based on live actors is getting the likeness right if it's off your going to have a hard time selling them...

Makes sense, but hopefully this animated series Harley Quinn sells and leads to an Ivy. I figure animation would be easier to make, but just as difficult to sell. Look at Young Justice. I believe they tried to sell figures for it and didn't pan out.

I like the character designs for Young Justice a lot, but each season eventually becomes very convoluted. I'm not a casual fan, so if they've got me confused/bored, imagine how a general-interest viewer must feel.

I'm glad they're making statues based on animated designs again, though. Their home video maquettes were really nice.

Nice to see the WW Eagle Armour. Looking forward to seeing the DC statue of it. They're really pushing that design. Just hoping there's a movie to go with it.

I actually have a DCU membership. With HBO Max now out, I have a feeling the DC streaming service will be going away soon (which is fine by me - it will save me money and they'll just move the content over to HBO Max). Getting rid of this exclusivity is just another step (like Doom Patrol Season 2 premiering on HBO Max) that the killing of the separate DC streaming service is probably going to be announced soon.

AT&T may keep DCU as a separate service for reading comics (so that people don't have to use Comixology, especially people who hate/refuse to patronize Amazon). I'm surprised Stargirl is offered for free on The CW the day after episodes go live on DCU. It's a very good show and worth watching on any platform.
