Ok guys, here's a link to a video of this piece that was posted on the XM Studios community group of Facebook by Sam Lee. To view the link you will probably have to be a member. In the video the colour of the base keeps changing depending on how the light hits it. It looks dark at the start, and then he turns it another direction and it looks light, and then it looks dark again. It seems to be a weird trick of the lighting.

There is one important point that some of you thought that shipping is based on actual weight but its never......its always based on volumetric weight.

DHL/Fedex/TNT/UPS all are based on volumetric to calculate the charges.

Eg Namor is 41kg actual weight but 71kg volumetric. Sword is 31kg but 68kg volumetric. That explain why it is expensive on the shipping. Hope thats help

Just filed a claim on PayPal against XM. For those who already paid the second/last payment please also do so before the time expired where the case will be automatically closed without being opened. I will be very pissed if I can't get my first payment back. Do let PayPal know that the first payment is part of the last payment. I contacted XM but never got a response back. Good luck

I'm sure they working on it to possibly reduce the shipping cost but they would need to work with their US counterpart on helping their customers.....They are not charging super high shipping directly from my understand cause Ultimate Swordman box is as big as Namor..... Just check with folks here how much they pay for Namor shipping to USA or Europe from those resellers......Just my 2 cents view

I had to put a claim that expedite the process. If I don't claim PayPal and final payment will expire then who would refund me? If xm doesn't refund you you can't do anything about it. Anyway it's good to be protected by PayPal up to 60 or 90 days I am not sure. Pay them the shipping charge then they ship the statue. TBH this is such a hassle. Not sure if I ever buy from xm direct anymore.

Yeah...being in the states...it's probably best to get all worldwide licensed statues through US retailers. You see how much cheaper shipping is. And that is for a humongous statue. So Witchblade I am pretty certain was just a fraction of what the Swordsman cost.

It's how I plan on buying all future XM worldwide statues.
