Look at college grading systems. Do you want a C grade statue, or A. I don't want satisfactory products, I want excellent products. No more pre-orders for me. I have to see the product and be wowed by it.

Excellent - A
Good - B
Satisfactory - C
My choice of the word "satisfactory" was meant to be equal to ones expectations. High expectations met, are ones satisfaction as having low expectations and getting a result surpassing such. Maybe we have a philosophical question about quality of something to become and the actual reality of a thing once manifested.

In short: I'm pretty sure it will satisfy, who is willing to be satisfied. 😉

Great looking piece. Is this a studio scale replica, of the stop motion rod puppet used on set?

I have went over wether the piece was worth the $1,700 asking price not long after I preordered it. I did start to think it wasn’t worth it. But that’s because I haven’t seen it in person.

But once I saw it to scale in front of Kevin, I was sold.

It’s big, dynamic and has presence from as far as I have seen as of yet.

Could it have been a couple of hundred dollars cheaper, I’m not sure yet. Having seen in peoples hands will tell, as well as in mine.

It’s like an enhanced version of the rod puppet.

It's an amalgamation of different A3 design elements (plus some of P1's own) combined together to try and give you a more idealized version.

No one has yet released a replica of the Boss Film stop motion puppet.

Never felt a need to have an Alien statue before but the pose here combined the with the Alien3 design looks amazing.

Also if you bought this from ADI Studios cost you 6500dollars for something similar in scale.

The P1 is an attempt to replicate the maquette ADI originally created. The ADI "is" the actual A3 maquette. The P1 is a replica.
