Great review. Between this piece and IS Spider-Man, the character is being done justice. For as much love as the "Grail" gets from years past, I never really cared for it. For me personally, the attraction of Spider-Man has always been his movement. He's so fluid, and for characters like Thor and Hulk, stiff bodybuilding elements are fine, but Spidey needs to be shown performing acrobatics that no normal human being can pull off. I didn't get this, as I too was worried about a lean, and after IS great release of Cap, I pulled the trigger on theirs. However, if I feel he's a bit to realistic, I'll move him to my movie display, and thanks to your review, I'll gladly pick this one up to display in my comic line up.

Thanks for your great review of this incredibly cool piece Gary; Spidey has seldom looked better IMHO!

Great and thorough review. I'm thinking of getting my SS Spidey statue autographed by Stan Lee. So for those who have autographed statues.....what pen or marker do you recommend to use? I'm hoping the signature does not rub out over time. Thanks!!!
