Could that just be a symptom of bad lighting, or camera?

Lol I dont think so , its clear thats its not shadow or lighting…. You can see in other vids and pics posted by other collectors that the eyelashes are thinner and appropriate for a mans eye …these look like he has mascara or false eyelashes on…. You can see on the left eye that they punched in the eyelashes , but they are all the same length on the ends, so they just didn’t trim or thin them out appropriately. On the right eye its like they curve up like he has mascara on…same issue..they needed to trim and thin them out.
The stubble looks to dark, so they need to shave it down a bit more so that he doesn't look like the evil version of Superman with the 5 o clock shadow lol

The sculptural quality is fantastic but something is amiss. Can't quite tell what. It just doesn't look as impressive as the other pieces for some reasons. The cool factor just isn't strong enough.

I love everything about this piece, the transition from Kent to Superman, awesome concept. I'm sooooo excited to get this.

Part of me really really wants this, but I’ve just got way too many preorders of busts (5) and 1/2 scales (2) etc. Lack of space (display + boxes) is the bane of collecting, and I know there will be more MCU busts which are my priority like Cap in the future

In my opinion, it has everything to do with the hair. Something is off about it - it feels too uniform. The actual face sculpt and paint look great IMO.

Im excited for mine to come in, but I definitely think that the hair is really a challenge - I am going to do what I can to style it to look as authentic as possible and not just brush it straight back like I see in all the other collectors photos. I think some hair gel and styling effort will make this piece look even more authentic.
