Coronavirus crisis and statue collecting
Hi all,
I am just wondering if the coronacrisis has been affecting your statue buying habit.
For me, I cut down on how many I ordered because the exchange rate of Canadian dollar to US dollar is very low right now.

I’m in the process of getting rid of all non-essential characters and just buying the must haves. Not because of the virus but because I don’t want a cluttered office.

I'm in the same boat i have the prime 1 Sauron and Jungle Pred on order and the cost of monthly payments just doubled because of the weakened AUD/USD exchange...So no more ordering for me hope to keep these existing orders but it may be impossible if the dollar drops too low.

I'm pausing all pre orders until I see how bad this is going to be for me financially. I'm already betting be more choosy about future purchases.

The Canadian dollar fell from 77cents to 68cents (not including bank charge of an additional 2%) in a week and a half. Needless to say, my POs are on indefinite suspension.

I have two statues coming from Tweeterhead which are either paid for or partially paid for and one Tweeterhead statue coming from my LCBS which is already paid for. Since I am only getting characters that I genuinely want and not trying to complete a line up, my statue purchasing is a little more selective.

I have 4 statues and 3 Hot Toys hopefully shipping this year. All were ordered in 2019 bar one which was ordered in 2018
Given the current situation, i cannot order anything new.

The Bowen Beta Ray Bill just sold on eBay for $430 and that’s one of the statues that I’ll be selling. I’m sure I’ll have to wait until this situation is controlled until I can sell other things. I’m in no hurry either.
